A. Yes. You will need to show a valid driver's license or other government issued photo ID.
The document must have the proper notary block. it must have a clear, legible notary stamp (not so light as to be illegible, not smeared, not stamped over text) that is correctly filled out and signed, it must include the state and county in which it was notarized, it must be signed by the notary public and include the name of the person who signed it, the date on which it was signed must be included.

40. You must sign the document in front of the notary.
41. We do not charge for notary services if the document will be recorded in the Santa Fe County
Clerk's Office, otherwise we charge $5.00 (five dollars) per notary.
